WINEMAKING WIZARDRY
In the winery they work in a very "hands off manner. The juice ferments naturally, without any additions, and they allow malolactic fermentation to take place so that all our wines are completely stable. The only addition is a small amount of sulphur after malolactic fermentation.
STYLE
A bright, fresh, and fruit-driven Cinsault from Stellenbosch, crafted by a passionate husband-and-wife team.
TERIOR
Grapes are from a dry-farmed bush vine vineyard called Rustenhof, with a mix of granite and sand soils. The vineyard's proximity to False Bay provides cooling ocean breezes.
COMPOSITION
100% Cinsault.
REGION
South Africa, Stellenbosch, Faure.
