The month of love at yollys 

Throughout the month of February yollys at 1 Main Road, Franschhoek will be hosting some incredible events in celebration of the month of love.

Starting off strong on the 11th of February yollys will be hosting its first Winemaker Wednesday of the month in collaboration with Matthew Krone. He will be bringing a selection of his Van Hunks Sparkling Wines along with his recently launched Coot Club Wine Co. Rosé. From a long line of family winemakers dating back to the early 1700s, and still very much hands-on today, Matthew brings a mix of traditional winemaking and modern thinking to everything he makes.

For Valentines Day yollys will be spicing up your program with a uniquely crafted event hosted by Pieter Badenhorst celebrating everything about wines. Join us for an exclusive evening that celebrates the parallel harmony between the heart and the cellar. Pieter will guide you through the world of wine collection from curation and valuation to preservation and storage. This will be an extremely exclusive and intimate event so be sure to book in advance for what is sure to be a Valentine’s Day for the ages.

On the 25th yollys will be joined by Tyrrel Myburgh from Joostenberg wines to mark our last Winemaker Wednesday for February. Tyrrel is the 5th generation of his family to farm at Joostenberg and is committed to organic farming and natural winemaking. It's sure to be an incredible end to the month.
